Examine the warning in the Device Manager:

Now, go to the Hewlett Packard folder to erase all the printer related files and folders. After that, you can restart your computer to install the software again.

 

Reinstate your Printer system:

At times, the USB connection problem befalls because of the setup issue in the printer. So, to fix it, rearrange the configuration setting. For that, firstly, right click on the start menu and then choose the control panel. Now, you have to hit the Hardware and Sound from where you have to choose Devices and Printers and then select Printers. Next, right click on your printer from the list and then choose the Reset Printing System that will be confirmed by clicking OK button. To start the system reset process, give admin permission where needed and tap on OK. After that, click at the + sign and then go for your printer and hit the “Add” option.

 

Do Troubleshoot the USB cable and connection:

If your USB connection is not working, test that if it is connected with the computer properly or not. For doing so, attach it into a power source using the power cord if it has one and after that, install the relevant and needed software. After doing this, examine the power cables and the USB hub to look out if the USB hub is attached to the power cable or not. Ensure that both the hub and devices are running at the same speed.

 

When your device is not connected with the power or else, it is connected with a USB device that is not connected with a power source, connect the device with your computer by plugging it via USB port or by connecting it to a USB device that has a power cord. Now, detach all the USB connections excluding the one you are testing and then connect those again that should be done individually so that you can get which one is creating the issue and it can help you to fix that specific issue.
